Sanctuary Main House is a serene island villa with nearly 9,000sq ft of floor space. The interior was created by renowned New York designer Donna Karan and features cedar-panelled walls, teak furniture, walnut floors and limestone bathrooms, as well as antiques and ornaments from Karan’s travels. Two of the en suite bedrooms overlook the property’s private swathe of beach, and a third en suite bedroom overlooks a lush garden. Two private dining areas and ample living space give guests plenty of room to relax. The private sundeck on the property’s upper level surrounds a large infinity pool that looks out onto the ocean.
The Sanctuary’s two guest villas offer over 4,000sq ft of floor space each, and are tastefully decorated with art works and beautiful teak furniture sourced from Africa, Haiti and Bali. There are also custom pieces inspired by the island and designed by Donna Karan. Both four-bedroom villas have two ocean-facing en suite bedrooms on the ground floor, and two further en suite bedrooms on the upper floor. Each villa has its own private infinity pool, looking out across the ocean. A third, shared pool is surrounded by an informal dining area that can seat up to 20 guests. A private sun pavilion with a fully-equipped kitchen can also be rented with one or both of the guest villas.
